Leeuwarden MLU M5 EOA topic

In week 16 and 17 of 2008 there will be an M5 Early Operational Assessment (EOA) at Leuwarden Air Base. During this period tehere will be 10 M5 Lead The Fleet (LTF0 Airplanes. Those airplanes will come out of 5 diffrent EPAF countries. The Netherlands is during this period leading in this test. 323 Ops en TACTESS are the participants of the Klu.The Klu airplanes ar having the serials J-066 and J-204.

start: 14 april
end: 27 april

M5 is a type of helmet which is used with the installation of the last fase of the MLU upgrade. So expect some F-16's from other participating MLU nations, Portugal, Belgium, Norway, Denmark.

Correct me if I am wrong.

In my understanding the "M" is the version of the software of the electric jet also reffered to as "the tape". Together with the software comes hardware additions / changes. The new helmet is also included.
