London Mil

Post by Henk Voortwijs »

Just to confirm the following SWANWICK MIL, is dead, it is NO MORE. It is all London Mil now, see below.

Tonight (28th January 2008 London Mil East move from West Drayton to Swanwick (Next to River Hamble, Southampton), joining Swanwick Mil (Old London Mil West and LJAO which are already at Swanwick).

On 28th January 2008. London Mil (ex London Mil East) based at West Drayton will relocate to Swanwick (Hampshire).

On 28th January 2008 the name Swanwick Mil will cease to exist. LJAO which is part of Swanwick Mil , will once again become part of London Millitary.

On 28th January 2008 the callsign “Swanwick Mil” will cease to exist, and the Swanwick callsign will revert back to the callsign of “London Mil".

No Swanwick, LJAO or London Mill frequency changes are expected to occur during the move, however some Tx sies changes may occur.

For those who want the correct Name the units will now be offically known as:

LATCC Mil (London Air Traffic Control Centre Military), ex London Mil East.

LJAO Mil (London Joint Area organisation Military) Ex Swanwick Mil.
