I will be going to CIAF this year for the first time. Does anyone have any hints or tips about where it's good to take pictures from or other things that might be nice to know.
Thanks

Hi Jonas,
I wondered if this would help, check my report on last years Air Fest on
the UK Site airsceneuk under listings on the home page, 'Brno report'.
I and friends are going this year, so if you need any tips other than
what I reported please ask.
1. Don't bother about the press badge, it won't give you much extra except a free parking spot close to the entrance.
2. You're staring into the sun so don't expect amazing picture quality. If I had to do it again, I would try to find a nice spot outside the airfield during the afternoon (e.g. to get some landing shots).
I want to go to the czech airshow this year 2008.
I live in austria so it isn't that long of a drive for me.
Can anybody give any info about a place to camp or a hotel or something
nearby where I could spend the night?
And is the airfield difficult to find?
The Hotel Grand in Brno is where we stay, which is easy for the bus-
shuttle up to the show. They have a web-site at the following address. http://www.grandhotelbrno.cz" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and e-mails at reservation@grandhotelbrno.cz
Anyone knows B&B or cheap hotels near Brno? I'm willing to go to CIAF 2008 with other 2 friends.
I know there are really cheap and good B&B but not able to find them out...
thanks for your help.
