Migs in the Achterhoek

Migs in the Achterhoek

Had an day free an decided to photograph some Mig 21's in the Achterhoek. Did not find any pictures of them in this forum so here they are.

This Mig 21UM has flown for the Hungarian Airforce with serial 0565.
The construction number is 05695165.
It can be found at the Actief Nissan Car Dealer in St Isodorushoeve ( near Haaksbergen ).

At Zelhem you can find this Mig 21PF at camping the Pluimerskamp.
It has flown for the Czech Airforce with serial 0404. The construction number is 760404.

And not in the Achterhoek but in the MLM at Soesterberg the well known Mig 21PFM from the Soviet Airforce. 47 RED is its serial and 940MS13 is its construction number.

What is sitting next to the MiG.21 at Zelhem Camping? Looks like an L.29, but I can't be sure.

Achterhoek?

Just a correction here. Though I concider myself beeing a Dutch man, or even more A European, I live in Hengelo Ov and don't see myself as a "Tukker". But anyway St. Isidorushoeve is not in the Achterhoek but in Twente. I know a lot of people from the Randstad area concider everything east of the Veluwe as the Achterhoek, or "provincial" but things are called diffrently here and there :wink: .

The annekdote, supposedly, behind the Mig-21 there is that it was a present from a mate of the Nissan dealer. Him saying it landed on the street there on the first of april some year. This explanes the "April 1" markings underneath.
