Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

What spot did you take this pictures?
And are there often other photographers?

I think they are taken at spot 2 at the airfield guide of Aviano. I've was there too a couple of years ago. It's the best spot to take pictures of landing aircraft as you can see. You can find some pics at http://www.sidewinderpics.fotopic.net/c347905.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . Take-off pics are from spot 4, the rest from spot 2 and 3.

How is the police at this moment, when I was at spot 4 they say that's not allowed to take pictures there, because you can see the infrastructure of the base there. For example the picture of the Ramstein Hercules.

Anyway, nice pics but to many of the same aircraft.

Yes, Spot 2

Spot 1 and 3 are not so safe because you are in the main street and police could create some problem. Even if nowadays we are "tolerated" it's always safer to have a "low Profile" staying in spot2 parking away (spot 2 you can reach only on foot) and stay "outside" visible only when needed. Infact sometimes Police comes out when see too much people around..... Lucky you in the north!!!

Yes actually there is some snow in the mountain even if not like my pictures on the scramble airfield guide!
That was a rare occasion!
If I have time tomorrow I'll be there in the morning and will post some pics with snowy background.

Let me know when you are coming.

ciao GP

I do like the pictures because of the background! The pictures of the Airbus are a bit dark.
