Hello,

The Chilean Air Force 737 arrived earlier as expected.
There is also an Extra 300 at Niederrhein with C/N 1268, unfortenately no number on it.
Big Credits to Rene Wilthof.

Too bad that you can see the fence on the thirth picture.

Regards, Rene Sleegers

Nice pictures,
about no.03...did you take this picture through the fence?
How high is this fence, do you think a small step is good enough to take a picture over this fence?

That fence is about 4 meters high so a step wont help you
But for the first picture,s a small step is enough.

I wouldn't even consider to take a stairs for the picture. If you are on a ladder, you willl see the watchtower in the back on every picture.

So, knees on the ground so you want have the tower on the picture.

BTW, the aircraft will leave next monday at 9 o clock in the evening.

one tip:

Do not drive with your car to spot one, because you will encounter the ''sleppdienst''.

In front of the terminal is also ''no go'', the best you can do is park on P1 or P2, then you will be save. One of us was towed away today resulting in a fine of EUR149...

I had the oppertunity to go on the ramp today. The photos are on our website. A full report including the pics of the extra300 will follow tomorrow.

We were going to NRN with 4 persons, one of us had to be had to picked up in ''wanssum'', a town 10km from Weeze. Wenn we pulled up the parking lot there we saw a 737 flying to the north east, so we said ''that one is going to Eindhoven''.

The drive to NRN was full of happiness and jokes (what else do you expect.... a nice vistot is coming up, and we had a day with more sunshine than we could wish for!)

That happiness, quickly turned into sadness, wenn we drove to the terminal at weeze and discovered the 737 of the ChilAF had just landed!!

Damn!! I pesonally had an landing picture in mind... But nevertheless, the day turned out well!! Since we are the local spotting group we had the chance to go on the ramp. The picture in this post is a result of that ramp-visit! Thanks to NRN-Flugleitung!!

The day ended with a nice ''wienerschnitzel''. All in all a nice day, allthough in my opinion the ''sleppdienst'' was a little bit overactiv...
