[REQ:] Spotting Conditions UK south

Post by arrecoos »

Hello fellow spotters,

As I am planning a military trip the week after RIAT I would like to know your experiences and tips (that is, if there are any) regarding the following airfields:
- Little Rissington
- Abingdon (Dalton Barracks)
- Hullavington
- Colerne
- Upavon
- Netheravon
- Odiham
- Kenley
I know most are not well visited but if you have any information I would be glad to hear from you guys.

thanks in advance,

Arco de Heer

Good satellite views can be obtained via this link:

Furthermore, reversing your question, Scramble is very interested in your fieldwork to add these fields to our airfield guides!

greetings

My main advice would be to contact the VGS units at all bases. I visited most of them and they are always very welcoming. The ones which are not on active military bases can also be visited without appointment, but for example Odiham is different obviously. Most of the VGS units have their own website which you can find with Google.
Have fun!
