Vliegverkeer van en naar Vliegbasis Eindhoven is sinds vanochtend niet mogelijk. Een kabelbreuk veroorzaakte een stroomstoring op de vliegbasis. De breuk is het gevolg van werkzaamheden buiten de basis.

Al het vliegverkeer wijkt uit naar andere vliegvelden. De vliegbasis gaat weer open zodra de stroomvoorziening is hersteld.

Just to be trying out some new lenses: how to get to the spottersplace at Eindhoven by public busses and which day's are best or to be planned for photographing the new 334? (DC-10, KDC/C-130H30 new colours etc)?

I believe there's a bus to Eindhoven Airport from Eindhoven's central station. I don't know the line number.

When standing in front of the Eindhoven Airport building, there's multiple nice spots to the left ànd to the right. All of them within walking distance.

The official spotterscorner (landing rwy22) is to the right of the Eindhoven Airport building, a twenty-minute-or-so walk. Walk along the public road past the hangars and then take the road to the left BEFORE the bridge over the canal, and you won't be able to miss it.

To the left of the Eindhoven Airport building are a few parkings that offer nice views on the civil apron and the runway (furthest one is a ten-minute-or-so walk from the Eindhoven Airport building).
