US Army also sent UH-1 sometimes. Not worth a posting, except for this one. The slide says JAN78.

A very nice pic but definitely not taken in januari! Sunlight is too bright and lots of green in the background. I would say autumn in an early stage!
So probably taken in september/october.

This thread never ends....., the supply of pics seems unending !!! Great :D

But also very frustrating to see what jewels visited the bakermat in the old days. Frustrating since they will never come again. Those RAF Phantoms just put a tear in my eye. Keep 'em coming guys.

The date on the slide says MAR85. Those days we would find this a fairly uninteresting visitor.

Actually, these pics were taken at Hilversum (EHHV). Because Soesterberg was closed at...sunday..., they diverted to Hilversum! The very next day they took off -in the early morning- with destination Soesterberg!

Great stuff, everyone!!!!!!!!!
The RAF F4s were they part of an sqdr.exchange?
Because I can remember a friday, when 6 RAF F4s from
No92 sqdr. came in for a sqdr.exchange.
I did see the Swedish Army choppers also at Hilversum airfield!
And took pictures of them aswell.
Greetz,
Roel
