According to my logs 05 was already wfu in 2003. The 15 has been very active for the last couple of years (including august 2007). The tail number shows at least a five.
Lets hope some local spotters have some more info. Maybe it's worth to check http://WWW.JETFLY.HU" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for the next couple of days.

at http://www.repulonap.hu/airshow I found a nice 20 seconds film (unfortunately only on the hungarian part of the site) with moving aircraft of the hungarian airforce.
Further some nice updates on phased out aircraft like Su-22, MiG-23 and some MiG-21s static. I think they will bring these in by road from Papa instead of by air
Red Bull will support a mini Airrace, Shouldn't cost to much as the race in Budapest is in the next week

All jet fighter types of the HuAF will be on static at Kecskemét. What I found as a nice addition was the Fitter and the Mi-1.
aviodromefriend: I remember to read how they transported MiG-21Us which were sold to India by road. I guess they would rather take examples from Szolnok instead of Papa.
I'll soon post the updates of the participants, but has anyone seen a dynamic display of an E-3 AWACS??? They seem to promise one for this year's airshow...

Sure, in this part of Europe it happens now and then. But don´t expect aerobatics of some kind. Usually it is just a couple of fly by´s (or just one fly by) sometimes accompanied by some jets.
A loop or a barrel role would be cool though.....
thx for the info. I guess in this part of Europe this will be one of the first (if not the first) dynamic displays by an AWACS. (Before, IF it came, it was on static.) Of course I don't expect the same level of aerobatics than from a good old MiG-29, but hope will be a nice one.

The hungarian ones are stated as static. They stopped flying them operational a lot of years ago. Their Sukhois were stored at Papa in 1998, where I saw them on a visit with HAT. Maybe the polish flying
