The flat colors have more to do with the backlit and hazy conditions that with your lens.

No it has nothing to do with your lens or camera.
When you are facing the sun you photograph the 'shade-side' of the plane, which makes the plane(and its colours) darker (See your third pic (PH-BQD)).
This will 'flatten' your colours, or makes the colour 'unreal' as you say it.
With the sun in your back the object and the colours will stand out much nicer. Blue will become blue and red should be red etc
There's a lot more quality in the lens than you have shown us now, good luck next time :)

When I started taking shots, I had the same "problem".
I began to read about photography and I read, the colour problems as you decribed, can be taken away by the use of a polorising filter [polarisatie-filter].
I decided to buy one, and they are not cheap, but it works!!
Colours are much deeper and more realistic.
I must add, I have a Nikon, not a canon.

Sorry but a polarizer does nothing to improve backlit photos, it only works in high contrast situations, which these are not (quite the opposite).

Shoot with the sun in your back for best results. Only in a few situations do backlit shots work.

I just hear the same of camex. They say that i better use a uv filter. Because it filters the sun light that reflect on the wing edges. So i first going to try UV & sun cap.

Nice shots you all, have to learn a lot i see.

I don't know who 'they' are, but they are full of it. A UV filter will NOT filter sun reflections.
