We are sorry that the UK’s only airworthy B-17 Flying Fortress, Sally B is momentarily grounded. Now in her 63rd year, the job of keeping this flying memorial in the air is always hard work and sometimes luck is just not on our side...

Hi Elly,

I do hope that you manage to come to Leeuwarden, but safety first. It would simply be fantastic to see a B17 in Holland once again.
Otherwise I will simply have to visit Duxford :-)

I wish you guys all the best and all the luck to get the Sally B flying again. And it would be great to see you this season either at Leeuwarden or at Duxford.

Best Regards, Tom

Mildenhall only has KC-135R's so don't expect a KC-135E.
