Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Some photos taken one month ago during a Portuguese army exercise.

These war-veteran choppers are 40 years old now but will certainly be flying for some more. Although a replacement programme has been around for some time, a decision on the future type is not expected in the next couple of years.
By the way, despite PoAF owned and operated, the helis in these shots were flown by pilots belonging to UALE, an army unit awaiting the delivery of the NH90 (along some numbers of the same light helicopter the AF will buy).

Also, during the exercise some CAS demonstrations were carried out by Alpha Jets and F-16A/AM.
Here, an F-16AM dropping 6 BDU-33 training bombs.

Hi Flanker27,

i see you're a fan of the "green" themes too, besides the "blue" ones (aircraft)!

Here's a video of the exercise:

Anyone who takes a more carefull look can notice the devastating effects of the BDU-33 impact on the ground during the F-16AM pass!
