Aren't there enough fighters already then? :lol: :wink:

4 Harriers? Couple of Phantoms(3?) of 2 Nations, and a bunch of F-16's. To name a few participants. Not mentioning the Mirage 2000, Mig-29, Tornado and Eurofighter, oops just did it. :D

Think that's a great list of fighters for this year.

Again they put together a great list for this years Open Days.

Don't get me wrong, the static is really fantastic this year!

But another fighter in the sky would be awesome!
(I need some vitamine AB!)

But you are right, again it's a great list in Leeuwarden!

You get at least 12 local F16's in the air.
And there are some more additions that are not on the website yet, just wait and see.

Yes it would be great to have more fighters flying but what else can we expect these days? LWD already has 4 out of 5 of the 'regular' fighter displays (only Swiss Hornet is missing) so that's pretty good IMHO. All other jets have stopped displaying or very rarely fly at airshows.. The days with flying Draken, Viggen, Tornado's, Phantom, Harrier, MiG-29, Jaguar(s), Mirage F1 duo etc etc are long gone unfortunately... :?

But I must say the guys who organised this event

i hope some historic jets... like the gnat and jet provost... :)... or even a draken :P... damn :)... i missed it when it was for the last time in our airspace :(...

How about the Slovakian Mig-29 from the ILA in the Airshow at Leeuwarden? Nice camo!!! Would be a nice photographic opportunity. :D

But as I mentioned before. The organizers have done a great job! As usual ofcourse. :cheers:

Sorry, no Slovakian Mig-29 only a Slovakian PC-9 and a PC-6. :D
