Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Hey

I spent the day out there too. Quite a few people were there yesterday since the weather was pretty good with some single clouds comming up during the recovery of the TLP aircraft. Anyway, here are some pictures I took out there.

You should clean your sensor, all your pictures have the same dirt on it saying "thunderbird-2008"

Can not see past the watermark, it ruins everything. Too bad. Could have been nice pics.

don't think so if you put the watermark in the center of your pics

but further the pics are fine

OK guys, let's respect eachother here!
Maybe a tip is at hand:
I think Thunderbird is placing the watermark as a copyright,
would be good to place it around the edges somewhere like under-right corner.

Nevertheless: Very sharp and good pics Thunderbird :!:

why not? its the only way no-one will use this photo's without contacting him first.

I think everybody is overreacting a bit here. "can't see past the watermark", why is it called a watermark then ?!?! its transparrent !!
you should judge the photos not just complain about watermarks, next time we'll discuse the border thickness, type of border, font of the watermark? they are his photo's so it's his choice how to post them.
