At the static was also AS.332L1 2115/D-HEGP from Bundespolizei.
On the flightline/static were also Sea Kings: 89+54, 89+57, 89+63, 89+64 "50 years SAR" 89+69.
Unfortunately the Danish Merlin left already home at 10.15h (the gates opened at 10h!). Were the busses dropped you at the base there was a hall with an old c/s Sea King in it, this was (the fist) 89+61 in use as G.I. (ex Westerland).
Preserved were:
Do-28D 59+14 and the H-34 (sorry forgot the serial).
Far away on the base stored was F-104G with fake serial "26+72", not visible from the public area!
Flying was an unidentified PC-9 from E.I.S. at about 13.00h when we left the base. Anyone it's serial?
In the afternoon Do-28D 58+89 came in (from Bitburg airshow) at the civil part of Kiel, said it's owner at Uetersen were we were that afternoon!
The Ka-27 Helix should be 45 yellow (a photo on the net), anyone for the c/n? (sorry for the typo I first gave code 27, but it should be 45)
The Ka-27 was indeed serialled "45 yellow". For your information, it was aboard the ship F712 - Neustrashimy, which was lying in the Tirpitz hafen.
And yes, I am also searching for a construction number.....Maybe someone can help us!
On Friday the hangar with the SeaKings was closed. How could you reach the hangar on Saturday?
We asked first a pilot where the preserved F-104 was, and he contacted us with an officer. He drove us where we want: the 104, on the flightline and in the Sea King hangar where we were allowed to take pictures everywhere. So this made it all good! The static was bad with all people around.
Erik
PS.. Did you also do Hohn, if so I still need the serial from the C-160D at the far end right.
also found at the show was a Seaking 89+61 in building H91 near the main gate where the shuttle bus was dropping off. This was in the old scheme so is presumably the machine formerly at Westerland-Sylt?
I have a photo of the current 89+61 in the main maintenance hanger as per the earlier log.
Also the flying Do-28 was 59+11/D-IRES in the two tone grey Navy scheme.
