Anyone who knows when the manufacturer NH-90 that will be at the Navy Days, will pass through De Kooij? (and, is it another one than N 088?)

For as far as I know the NH 90 at the Navy Day's is N-088. She'll most probably be displayed at one of the ships on the flight deck.
As we speak N-088 is in the fly-past at Gilze, afterwards returning to De Kooy.
(earlier the flightplan said ETA EHKD 17.00 LT).

With sadness I saw that it's the end of "Marine Vliegkamp" de Kooy.
The sign at the main entrance has been replaced by a new one, stating: "Maritiem Vliegkamp" de Kooy.

Just be glad they didn't close the field totally, and yes, it was known for quite a while it should be renamed "Maritiem Vliegkamp" after passing from C-ZSK to C-LSK's DHC.

You're right, but it hurts my feelings that yet another part of the RNLN and especially the "Marine Luchtvaart Dienst" has passed away. The service I worked for has been hit very hard these last years and I wonder what lies ahead for the Armed Forces in the future, but I realize that's "off-topic."
