Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Here my pics from a sunny, 'hot' and great day at Florennes!
More at http://www.airplanepictures.tk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Image

First I did a small part of the static

Image

Image

Few of the many special paints

Image

Image

And the flying displays! I wanted to post many more pics...

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Than there were 5 minutes pause, so i ran to the closest toilet. While 'doing my thing :D ' I saw a KC-135 passing by!
I ran like I have never done before (And I do athletics!) to my dad and took my camera but I was to late... The F-18 did his demo and than the KC-135 came back for one final fly-by! :D

Image

And then the rest of the static

Image

Image

Image

And the cockpit of a miragen to finish

Here is a small preview of a complete weekend as part of the "supportcrew"during the defencedays at Florennes.
For those of you looking forward for next years edition will be disappointed because this was the last time.Next year the seperate components will organize their own public events(maybe its for the best).

I was at Florennes last saturday. They called the event "Defence Days" but for me it was more like an Air Force open day.

There were some army vehicles, but I didn't see a lot of army displays (maybe also because I was more interested in the aviation part of the event :D ). I also didn't see anything from the navy, besides the Alouette III (ok, I understand it is a bit difficult to bring a navy-ship to Florennes ... )

@ copter:If you would have taken some time to visit the TLP-hangar you would have noticed that the navy was also present and if I'm not mistaken the belgian A109 and ALII are from the army.
But back on topic

I don't mind a decent airshowbabe once in a while....I agree with Flanker though that dumping 50 pics here is hardly the way to go, especially as half of them seem to be out of focus.
