Japanese warship with SH-60J at Portsmouth

One of 3 Japanese navy warshipes has arrived at Portsmouth Royal Navy base for a visit over the coming weekent has a SH-60J serial number 8253 from 22 Kokutai on board.

There are reports of warships from other navies being due here.

Try listening to 319.100 Mhz, guess some LINK 11 traffic...

Said SH-60J was visible at 08.50 local time on the 25th,along with a RN Merlin HM.1 on HMS Illustrious and an unidentified Lynx on another warship.

These were visible from the Gosport side,so saving the hassle and expense of driving to Portsmouth.
