Well, I'll settle for that lot! Remember that the Hungarian Air Force will be puting on their own displays as well.SpEkTr wrote:
I'm not sure but, is this a very short list of dynamic display or what?
One more question. Do we have to make a reservation for camper or is it recommended?Tomcat_hun wrote:I'm afraid that the detailed program is available only in Hungarian. I'll insert it into my following message.
Camping will be in a parking (400 meters away from the entrance no. 2), water, power, mobil toilet will be provided. The camping will open at 3pm, August 15. Place reservation: rieger@t-online.hu or cell no. +36 20-330 8273.
I'm afraid that not. As far as I remember the prices are always in HUF.SpEkTr wrote:One more question. Do we have to make a reservation for camper or is it recommended?Tomcat_hun wrote:I'm afraid that the detailed program is available only in Hungarian. I'll insert it into my following message.

Last year I saw several Fulcrums when I was taken by bus to visit the AWACS on the static, but these planes were around the HASs. :/PIK Flyer wrote:Well, I'll settle for that lot! Remember that the Hungarian Air Force will be puting on their own displays as well.SpEkTr wrote:

Does anybody know if there are still stored MIG-29s (or other types) on the field? If so, will they visible from inside the show area? I'm planning to go to the show on the Saturday only so if I need to see the stored aircraft from outside, I'd prefer to go round the fence on the Friday night.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the info.Tomcat_hun wrote:

These are not within the show area, they're on the closed part of the airbase. It is forbidden to take pics in that area. MPs and police may patrol around there so I'd suggest not to take pics. The MPs and the police may even confiscate your camera.PIK Flyer wrote:Thanks for the info.Tomcat_hun wrote:

Bearing in mind that I've not visited the site before, I've only got the airshow map (for the tribune) to go by. It looks as though almost all of the south side is open to the public. There are what looks like HASs at the western end of the field, within the show area. Are these the ones you mean? If so, is it possible to walk around these, or are they airside?
Sorry to ask so many questions, just wanting to make the best use of my time when I get there.
Thanks for that very valuable advice! I'll make a point of not photographing in the forbidden area. (I'm really only interested in seeing the missing ones from the fleet anyway).Tomcat_hun wrote: These are not within the show area, they're on the closed part of the airbase.
