M1506/08 - DUTCH MILATCC FREQUENCY CHANGES:
DUE TO CONVERSION TO 8.33KHZ SEPARATION THE FOLLOWING FREQUENCIES
HAVE CHANGED
120.825MHZ CHANGED INTO 120.830MHZ
132.525MHZ CHANGED INTO 132.530MHZ. 19 AUG 00:01 2008 UNTIL 20 NOV 23:59 2008
ESTIMATED. CREATED: 07 AUG 10:58 2008
Assume makes an ASS of U and ME.

I think they are rather testing it - that's why it's temporary. I met with a similar solution (but not dealing with 8,33kHz conversion) in PolAF: at first temporay testing only, noticed in NOTAMs, later a permanent change to AIP.

Nothing is changing,

120.830 is still 120.825
132.530 is still 132.525

You do not have to change anything in your scanner.
Same already happend with Lippe which is now 131.080, while freq is still 131.075.

Also London Civil has changed several freqs to 8.33 Designations

Date mentioned (it has a name but forgot it) will be the date new Supplements will be valid with these changes implemented

Joost - reading your post suddenly made me pay attention to the thing I missed.
What they published in the quoted NOTAM seems illogical to me!
According to 25 kHz separation the frequency list sequence is: ... - 120.800 - 120.825 - 120.850 MHz - ...
whilst according to 8.33 kHz separation the frequency list sequence is: ... - 120.800 - 120.8083 - 120.8166 - 120.825 - 120.8333 - 120.8416 - 120.850 MHz - ...
So:
1) 120.825 MHz does fit both 25 kHz and 8.33 kHz separation.
2) 120.830 MHz doesn't fit any of them (it fits only 5 kHz separation)
Then why changing 120.825 to 120.830 MHz? Should be 120.825 or 120.833(3) MHz!

You are mentioning frequencies whereas 120.830 is only designation for 120.825

Try to fit 132.085 in it, won't work either. Because it is Designation for 132.0833

131.080, won't fit correct freq is 131.075.
136.480 same, correct freq is 136.475
132.085 > 132.0833

When introduced they always said "Channel 132.085" Nowadays it is only 132.085

You will hear many more "strange"freqs like 128.160 (london)

So Designation won't fit in the frequency plan, the actual freqs do
