Will see on Saturday (this is day when I expect to be there as well). Last year Saturday was fine, but Sunday (according to some colleagues who went then) was rainy.

Anyway, the worst I experienced was in 2006, when a little publicised static event marked the public debut of the HuAF's Gripens. Here are some pics from that year:

The pic below shows that the Fulcrum is a true swing-role aircraft... ;):)

Of course, in the afternoon the weather was sunny...

don't worry, if it will rain on saturday, it won't last long, but it won't rain. rain comes on friday evening - saturday night. I think we have to be happy for that, cause on friday the temperatures go up to 37 celsius, and i think is much worse than a light rain

i suggest you to use these links, although its on hungarian, i think you'll understand it, and better, than the international pages:

For our hungarian friends: What means "Reggel" and "Délután"
Maybe I do something wrong, but it seems this gives a forcast for Beijing???

Cool stuff!!! :) Hope to find a good position to take a pic of it. By the way, the organizers say that there will be two SLUFs (A-7Es) with special painting. I saw pictures only of one (the one with the tiger stripes). Does some of you have some info/pic on the other one????

I would be interested. Do u have any specific info whether the planes and choppers that will be taken to Kecskemét for being displayed there will already be back to Szolnok?

I would also be interested. We should be back in Budapest by the Monday. I see that it is possible to get to Szolnok from Budapest by train, but does anyone know how to get from the railway station to the museum? Taxi perhaps? Anyone know if they are easily available at the station?

I'm very interested. But the 'extraordinary' means the museum will just be open on Monday or does it mean extended access (technical school, storage). I ask this because i'll need to replan my route if this is more then just the museum being open.
