Mildenhall report 22 August

Post by Le Addeur noir »

40 AS C-130H 74-1663 has disappeared overnight, not sure if it has departed or whether it is now in the hangars.Maybe one of the SBS equipped readers can answer this question.

The P-3C 161766 has been performing engine runs. This is the only known transient airplane present here. For departure details of the other visitors, see the posts above.

From memory, I believe I heard this one as RCH626 yesterday evening.

C-130H 74-1663

Post by Le Addeur noir »

Hello Joost

RCH626 did depart and this one was 74-1671 which departed at 18.44Z on the 21st and went to the 'south and east' and overflew Dutch airspace.

74-1663 was using callsign RCH963 and was en route to the States when it had to divert back here.

Both are 40 AS birds with the new Texas flag tail markings.
