Playing around this morning. Here some super crops, with quite low quality. I don't think it wouldn't have made a difference if I had a 1200mm lens though... (too far, heat haze)

The lens I bought is a Minolta 70-210 AF F4 alias "Beercan". I'm really satisfied about it because it gives me really sharp pictures. You wouldn't believe the lens dates back to 1985!!!! It's freakin older than myself(22 years). And the best thing about it cost me only 180 euro's. I will probably use it more often then my sigma 135-400mm. Because the Beercan is maid for a 35mm film. Corrected to the A350 sensor it gives me a 105-315mm range. Just perfect for spotting, like this.

Driving back from visiting my parents at the island of Goeree I came over the N201 and decided I had some time to take some shots of aircraft crossing the Hoofdvaart:

1. MD-11 playing peek-a-boo

3. PH-PBA on it's way to her nest. I just love the roar of these engine.

4. El Al Cargo

5. Is it a Russian? No, it's the PW engines of a Martinair MD-11.

6. And a panning shot to end with.

and the elder days we did think them (too) clean, we are now already comparing them to Russians? Oh man, what do I miss the old days with 707's, DC-8's, Antonovs, etc, then you had real smoke you could see the smoke earlier then for example the Tu-134
