I believe it wasn't a radar failure, but some other system failure. No diversions seen at SPL by me till +/- 2030lt. Some restrictions were active in the west, though.

G-OODM Ce 525A was seen at east +/- 1430lt, don't know when it left, but it did.
D-IWIN Ce 525A was seen leaving east +/- 2025lt.

Noticed a go around from an aircraft approaching the 06 about 15 minutes ago. According to google earth/platform vlieghinder, this is F100 PH-OFI. She is coming in now for landing after flying a couple of minutes over the Northsea. Anyone for the reason?

Regards Arno

Edit, they are using 36R now for landings, 06 blocked?

Wat ik gehoord heb, komt deze + een andere ex-Futura kist voor een korte (papiertechnische) stop op AMS, en dan door naar ATC Lasham op Southend, voor onderhoud. Maar het plan was al een keer eerder veranderd.

Not an emergency, but landing with some hydraulic problems. Other traffic diverted to 36C in case they could not vacate 06, and for runway inspection. Landed OK and stopped on an exit. Meanwhile, landing 06 again.

Correct, we had the same message. EZY flights to LGW & LTN were cancelled, and BRS was delayed for approximately 3 hrs. Some EZY flights were handled at the E-pier or awaited their slots at the buffer. Other flights to England were very delayed due to the radar failure. Some FlyBe aircraft were delayed for hours as well...

* TF-NBA confirmed.

Well, my apologies then :oops: . I was informed that there were some restrictions due to some other failure, but that must be filed under miscommunication then. Sorry!

Yeah there were a lot of problems to London even to LHR was a big mess for BA and BMI. I don't know if the radar is fixed already becaus around 0000lt and 0100lt aircrafts inbound to London were flying at 4000ft, all flightplans had to be filed as low as possible.
