Military says crash kills one Iraqi solider, situation 'under control'
BREAKING NEWS
BAGHDAD - Two Black Hawk helicopters crashed Saturday while landing in northern Baghdad, killing one Iraqi soldier, the U.S. military said.
Officials said two U.S. soldiers and two Iraqi soldiers were wounded when the UH-60 Black Hawks went down about 8:55 p.m. in a northern section of the capital.
Military spokesman Capt. Charles Calio said it was clear how severe the collision was but it did not appear to be caused by hostile fire.
The military said it was not known yet how many people were on board the aircraft and an investigation is under way.
