Left on TLP platform were:
Tornado GR4 ZD720/086 RAF
Tornado F3 ZE961/FO RAF
One EF-18A+ (C.15-72/12-30?) Ala 12 was towed in the TLP hangar.
Now the aircadets woke up and four L-21B’s were started and flew away. They came back in after 5 minutes to pick up the 6 gliders that were lying in the grass on the other side of the main runway.
They were:
L-21B LB-03
L-21B LB-06
L-21B LB-01
L-21B LB-05
They picked up these gliders:
DG300 PL-33
DG505 PL-41
Grob G102 PL-74
Grob G103A PL-84
Grob G103A PL-85
Grob G103A PL-87
Never seen gliders and Pipers take off when a TLP mission had departed so quite nice for a change!
Make touch and go’s was:
Falcon 20E CM02 21sm
Departing for a mission were:
F-16AM FA-127/FS 2W
F-16AM FA-98 no mks (2W)
Then the TLP aircraft came back and the last aircraft (The FRA Falcon) landed at 15.00h.
We drove to Brussel where unfortunately nothing interesting was seen.
Still, quite a nice day and lovely weather!
Additions/corrections are welcome,
Forgot to mention the third EAV-8B+ that was also left on the TLP platform during the TLP mission.
(So left on platform were: 1 EAV-8B+, 1 EF-18A+, 1 Tornado GR4 and 1 Tornado F3)
