Venice ( LIPZ/VCE ) - 2008

Hello,

After a very succesful day at Aviano ( Shaw F-16s! ), I made a quick tour along the hangars of Venice airport. The large east apron can be properly seen along the Viala Alvise Ca'da Mosto, including a C-37B. At the end there is a dirt road to the right leading to the police helicopter station and a quick view into the hangar and landing pad is very easy. Two choppers were inside and one was outside.

During taxi out another three VIP planes were spotted.

Hangar Police 10RV Venezia:
PS-66 AB-206B-III, at helipad
PS-73 AB-206B-III, inside hangar
PS-58 A-109A-II, inside hangar

Apron East:
166376 C-37B VR-1, with only 376 on tail, no other markings

Apron South:
U-05 Fokker50 334sq, arrived 14 oct
830500 C-20A VR-1, only 30500 on tail, no other markings
143 Falcon 10MER 57S, departed 15oct at 1740LT

Dear All,

when at Venice Marco Polo Airport last September, I saw 4 Fokker 100 aircraft of Alpi Eagles stored:

I-ALPK
I-ALPQ
I-ELGF in Yamamay c/s

The fourth however remained unidentified...could anyone of you please tell me its identity? It was also sporting Yamamay c/s on the left hand side, if that helps.

Further noteworthy aircraft were:

A330 SkyService C-GVKI with Sunquest and ALBAtours titles
757 Monarch G-MONJ in Hedkandi c/s
F-100 D-AGPH Contact Air in Star Alliance c/s
