Not much around 12:30:

82-0191 KC-10A n.m. (60 AMW)
1x Tornado RAF (doing a run on the runway. engine test?) Only saw the tip of the tail briefly. There was a code on it, but not sure about the code.

Just before there also landed an a/c. Just heard it, never saw it. Might have been the Tornado.

Spangdahlem, tuesday 28-10-2008.
After the TLP at Florennes had departed we decided not to wait. We had already taken pictures of the aircraft landing with sunny conditions in the second week. We decided to head for Spangdahlem, maybe we’d see some more action.

We were at Spangdahlem for little over an hour.
When we arrived two C-17A’s took off. These were:
C-17A 95-0107 437AW
C-17A 02-1107 62AW

Then two Vipers arrived:
F-16CJ 91-0360/SP 23FS
F-16CJ 91-0366/SP 23FS

After this arrival four 22FS Vipers departed:
F-16CJ 91-0340/SP 22FS
F-16CJ 90-0827/SP 22FS
F-16CJ 90-0831/SP 22FS
F-16CJ 91-0351/SP 22FS

Straight after these aircraft eight more 23FS Vipers arrived:
F-16CJ 96-0083/SP 23FS
F-16CJ 91-0416/SP “52OG” multi 23FS
F-16CJ 91-0412/SP 23FS
F-16CJ 92-3918/SP 23FS
F-16CJ 91-0417/SP 23FS
F-16CJ 91-0418/SP 23FS
F-16CJ 91-0402/SP 23FS
F-16CJ 96-0081/SP 23FS

In the meanwhile four more 22FS Vipers had lined up waiting for take off.
F-16CJ 91-0339/SP 22FS
F-16CJ 90-0818/SP 22FS
F-16CJ 91-0342/SP 22FS
F-16CJ 91-0352/SP “52FW” multi 22FS

Sitting at the cargo platform were:
C-5B 85-0005 436AW
C-17A 90-0534 437AW

That’s all.

Probaly a swop of the two Vipers on loan to the 510th FS, in the opposite direction yesterday evening "Blade 01" arrived in Aviano and this morning departed to Tanagra.

In the afternoon "Buzzard 61-62" landed in Aviano from ETAD, they were 91-0420 e 91-0349 than most probabily the "Buzzard 51 were 90-0813 e 91-0421. Furthermore "Blade 02" was arriving from Tanagra but diverted to Cervia.
