You *never* know. Planes break down, missions get cancelled. This is military aviation, anything can happen ;-)

When we arrived two F-16’s were doing touch&go’s. These we:F-16AM FA-108 no mks (2W)
F-16AM FA-131 (spec. demo c/s)

Were those F-16's flying a QRA mission?

Callsigns were LH01 (FA108) and LH02 (FA131)
Cheers,

Hi all,

It seems that 3 Spanish Hornets, (46-01, 46-15 and 46-20) left on Monday, or earlier? Can anyone confirm this?
Yesterday, these ones were not present.

Maurits

Could be true!

This was published on Mysteryship.nl:
Monday 27 oct 2008
TLP Departure:
AME 4636, Gando Ala46 F-18
Not present, you mean on the field or on the TLP apron?

46-15 could be around due to its engine problems!

I expect to see a testflight before it will depart.

Hi Piet,

Hmmm. looking at my pictures I notice a small nose-section left from the 46-07 on the ramp, behind the shelter. So this could be 46-15??

Hello,

Went to Florennes yesterday (28/10), indeed in the early morning two M2000C's from Cambrai made an overshoot (between 09:30 and 10:00 lt).

One of them was read as: 111/12-KF (also proof by photo).
No clue for the other one, I'm sorry.

Kindly greetings,

We where there on Saterday and noted these 5 Hornets, so they left earlier or where not on the TLP platform.

Just two quick questions....

1) which F-16 is preserved near the ATC tower??

2) which of the three AV-8's was parked inside the hangar??

Thanks a lot.

Best regards, Rob.
