Four out of seven MP MD-11 in repair

Post by Sapphire »

Yet another black day in MP's history... at the moment four of Martinair's seven MD-11CF are grounded because there's something broken. Not very good for their bussiness I think

Ok but It's not that newsworthy I think. Altough it's not good to have 4 AOG's but that's in the game of commercail flying.
I will see tomorrow when I go to work:-)

a/c being grounded can have several reasons, it can even be a small thing that doesn't affect airworthyness but it was on the HIL (Hold Item LIst) and was expired and if it is expired you're not allow to fly, so it can be something stupid for eg a landing light which doesn't work..
