Has anyone heard anymore weither the Brno Czeck Air Fest will be held at Brno next year ? or is the Czeck Air Force planning their 90th event at Caslov instead of Brno during September next year ?

I think the right question is, if the CIAF will be at Brno or Hradec Králové. In the past, the CIAF was held in Hradec Králové and I think, that they want to move it there again.

In the Brno 2008 program, there is a advertisment for Caslov 2009
which is way I asked if anyone had heard if they were having the 90th
Anniversary there instead of holding the Air Fest next year at Brno, or are
we being treated to two events in the Czeck Republic ? would be nice, but
unlikely.

Also in 2008 there were two shows, in Brno and Caslav (may if I remember correctly).... The CIAF is different and I think It will stay in Brno.
But it is my opinion....

The May show was in Hradec Kralove (add accents and other orthographic marks at leisure ), the original CIAF location and it's been rumoured for a while now that they might move back to this location. Don't forget the NATO air day at Ostrava, another event that is held in the Czech Republic annually.

I believe however that the organization of Hradec Kralove and Brno is civilian, not military. If the Czech air force decides to organize a show for its birthday party, Caslav would make sense.

AFAIK that rumours appear to be false, as the CIAF organisers have reached a long-term agreement with the British that run Brno Airport.

That's right, nowadays (I thought in the beginning of CIAF it was Airforce organised). I remember there was a threat the Airforce wouldn't turn up at CIAF due to a disagreement with the civilian organisers some years ago.

I asked organisers, and they confirmed CIAF will move this year to Hradec Kralove. This information should be on official site next week
