149 124 F-16 in the hanger at Larissa there was one other in the hanger also.
Kalamata (160079) faded tail code.
041 T-6
There where 3 T-37 at the opposite end of the airfield beyond the T-6 ramps on a sharp bend. There was a guard in a watch tower that prevented identification. Did anybody have any luck with these?
We made the tour as well, in different order obviously. Monday and Tuesday we observed normal operations and the situation at static displays may have been fluid as well.
Let's therefore start with last
Elefsis 11NOV
Entrance was hard to find due to road contruction in progress close to the gate and detour only marked in Greek! We rode the whole perimeter and were treated to the many types based here (and others left behind as wrecks).
The static consisted of C27 4120, C130 749, P3 153441, AB212 4391, AS332 2584.
Additions to the log above were C130B 723 (left while we were there) and Embraer products 145-209, 135L-484 and 671. A SAR Super Puma and white AB came in, but escaped identification.
The guards at first reacted to my camera as if it were a weapon of mass destruction. Luckily we could show a letter from HQ that it was allowed to make pictures. The guard was amazed, but very kind afterwards.
Hi all
looking to confirm the three Do-28's at Elefsis stored near F-102's where indeed 4082,4100 and 4123.Also we saw 7 Do-28's on active ? ramp and confirmed 4087,4094,4097,4102 and 4110.Did anyone get the other two.
Outside static consisted of two active a/c: A7 160543, F16 127
Museum aircraft were on display and Mirages (see above) could be viewed in hangar or shelter. When we left the base, we saw a Mirage being towed to the static!!
While walking to the static one had to pass the alert area. We saw one of our colleagues making pics so numbers will be known.
At HAI there were three intact P3s and several carcasses in the backyard. Others: C130 303, CL215 1111,1123 CL415 2050 and F16 SP409 that was being readied for a test flight.
Active Mirages were 507, 550, 554.
Additions:
517, 530 with backpacks from 337 M
7506 RF4
752 special tail C130
126, 141 (and many more) F16 from the Jason unit
A7 159285 may also be a new monument
A lucky shot: we did not think this base would be open.
We did not venture outside the base.
Static: 6639 RF104 and 159939 A7
Dispersed A7s 159954, 966, 949, 913, 965, 962, 956, 921, 946, 961, 944, 953
When did you visit Elefsis? We were there on the 8th in the late afternoon. Do you recall which C-130 was in the hangar? Could you confirm 4118 was the C-27 in the hangar?

2136 YS-11 (near 2153)
5x HU-16B stored mid field
1x N2501D stored mid field
1x HU-16B preserved 353MNAS area
3x P-3 353MNAS area (2x ops, 1x stored)
also, all aircraft in the heritage park were seen.
We arrived by plane at Thessaloniki on the 7th around sun set. At the military side we could see a C-47, F-4, F-5, PZL M18, and two CL-415s (2044, 2053). Anyone for the missing numbers? Also a row with a lot of wfu F-5s was visible.
Along the fence RF-5A 97167 (spec mks) and F-84F 26866 are preserved. We also looked for a nearby F-5 (preserved in a recreational area) but couldn't find it because of the darkness of night. We did see Sabre 2 19294 on top of a nearby Aegean gas station and F-5A 13353 at the war museum down town.
