while digging in my old negatives I found some nice ones again. Not the best quality but interesting aircraft :)

This one is taken in april 1972, they came in so regularly, we hardly took notice of them those days..... Can you believe it ???? The sound of the engines and the special noise you heard when they used their brakes to take corners while taxiing, wow

Thanks folks! I must have a slide of a KC97 at Soesterberg, I'll try to find it. Now I'm starting to scan it brings back sweet sweet memories. Give me much more spare time.......

een NLM F28 tijdens een militaire airshow?was dat toendertijd zeer normaal ofzo,een civiel vliegtijg op de static en zeker van de NLM/KLM?

It was a very normal sight to have civil aircrat at airshows those days. I also remember the RLS team with two Bonanza's and a Citation and also the Metro from the NLR performing that day. If I remember correctly the F28 brought in some special guests that day.

Ermm, even nowadays there civil birds at airshows. They might not be in the form of airliners, but bizzjets, props and "muggen" are present.
