Hi,

Nice photos indeed.
There are two reasons to do a "watersalut" by the fire department.

First reason ( as far i know) is a new aircraft / airliner on the deck.

Second reason is a salut to the "Captain" for his retirement ( in Dutch "Pensioen).
I think he or she made the last flight with Lufthansa's Boeing 737.

So,it's more the second reason in my opinion.

Grt,
Michel

Ik zeg zomaar,... pak wat je kan pakken want anders is het weg!!!!!!... :scramble:
Als je het niet wil pakken , dan pak ik het wel.... moet je wel zeggen waar?????....

I heard something about a Lufthansa plane that recently got the name of the city of "Goch" at Düsseldorf. I don't know when this happend.

I read something about it at the forum of http://www.sgniederrhein.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
