With the introduction of 3x daily AMS-LPL-AMS, KLM is reducing the frequency of AMS-MAN-AMS from 7x daily to 6x daily. While BMI Baby is launching 2x daily MAN-AMS-MAN.

As AZ no longer operates MXP-AMS-MXP, KLM is planning to increase the frequency to MXP from 5x daily to 6x daily with a new early morning departure. KL will continue to operate 1x daily to LIN.

Northwest To Resume Hartford To Amsterdam Flight

Northwest Airlines will resume the Hartford to Amsterdam service is ended in October, a source familiar with Bradley International Airport affairs said today.

The source said Gov. M. Jodi Rell is expected to announce the development at a breakfast meeting this morning.

Northwest initially launched the flight with great hoopla in July 2007. It was the first nonstop transatlantic route to Europe from Bradley in decades. The airline announced in June it was ending the flight, citing an overwhelming increase in fuel costs.

The service is expected to resume in June, although it was not immediately clear how many flights a week would be scheduled.

KLM Airlines is returning to Calgary.

Flights will start in May, and service will begin with five non-stop flights a week from Calgary to Amsterdam.

The announcement, made today at the Calgary International Airport, marks the return of The Netherlands-based KLM to Calgary after an absence of about 12 years.

KLM will operate the flight Tuesday thru Friday and Sunday. They will use the Airbus A330-200 on the flights to this Canadian city, according to luchtvaartnieuws.nl

Northwest To Resume Hartford To Amsterdam Flight

It's official condirmed now that NW/KL will resume the Amsterdam-Hartford service!

Here a little quote from "the Hartford Courant"

Starting June 2, Northwest Flight 98 will fly between Bradley and Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam five days a week, all but Tuesday and Friday. Northwest previously offered the flight seven days a week. The flight will depart Bradley 5:40 p.m. and arrive in Amsterdam at 6:50 a.m. the next day.

So not daily but the most important is that this destination is back again
