Runway in use, Schiphol

Post by Boudewijn van Oirschot »

Hi everyone!

I have only little question. I probably will go to Schiphol tomorrow after a long time. I'll try to get the bus to a runway but I need to know which runways will be used for landing and departure if he wind strong from southeast part... Of course I have seen the runway maps but with this wind direction I am not sure actually which runway will be in use :?

Thanks!!

Maybe I wasn't really clear but I mentioned that I have seen such websites :P I need to know it as soon as possible namely because tomorrow morning I won't have a lot time since I have to work from 05.00 until 06.30 so I don't have the time to search out which bus line I need to take...

For the moment the best bet would be:

Inbound peak:
18R + 18C for inbounds
24 for outbounds (possibly 18L if the wind is somewhat stronger)

Outbound peak:
18R for inbounds
24 + 18L for outbounds

This is, however, just my expectation. We'll see tomorrow.
