Post by amarx »

Who knows witch militair airfields are open in Europe in the weekends?
I know that Mildenhall is open but is Lakenheath also open for the weekends?

I think you can basically say that the American 'cargo' bases (Mildenhall, Spangdahlem, Ramstein etc) and the semi-civil/semi-military (Eindhoven, Koln-Bonn, Brussel-Zaventem etc) are open during weekends. Traffic may be a bit limited though.

Well expect quiet hours at the German US airfields (ETAR,ETAD)!!!
Limited operations are also there but closed are only the fighter bases when there is no cargo traffic there

At Ramstein can you expect some traffic in the weekends ;)
Think about C17's,Maybe a C5 and some civil 747's.
For the logs you have to look in the Ramstein topic there you can find some logs from the weekends ;)
