Neuburg Air Base 2008

Post by GME-AirFoto »

Hi,
at the end of the year, I will show you some pics from Bavaria/Southern Germany. During 2008 i was around 20 times at the NATO Base Neuburg/Zell.
Neuburg is the homebase of the Fighterwing 74 (JG74) equipped with the new Eurofighter Typhoon. Here some pics of the locals:

In Juni 2008 the last F-4F Phantoms leaved Neuburg. But in the first half of 2008 the mighty Phantoms fly daily in Zell. After the Phlyout some F-4 visiting the base sporadically.

I really do like your first Eurofighter picture. The heat is coming off the screen! I am afraid I still cannot call the plane a beauty, but the picture sure is.

Thanks for sharing your 2008 pictures, really nice.

Cracking series of images

I like how you have broken the white frame in one of them to accomodate the pitot tube etc. also the red frame on the tyrk. Now that´s what I call attention to detail :D

Well done.
