Camara bag as carry on luggage

Has anyone had any problems with Lowepro Computrekker plus bag being taken on board aircraft operated by non low cost carriers?

I own a Lowepro bag that has the same dimensions as yours, didn't have any problems with it till now with several cheap airlines. The size is around 30 x 20 x 45cm, that's allowed.

No, never on a non-lowcost airline. If size fits (and it does for Lowepro Computrekker ) I have only a few times been asked about the weight (normally more than the allowed 5-8-10kg depending on airline) and when I told it was only camera equipment it was no problem.

Have had problems with both Ryanair (of course) and Maersk Air. In all cases I got the bag with me but only after long discussions.

That is why I now use Easyjet or a non-lowcost airline whenever possible.

Easyjet has no weight restriction only size restrictions and most camera bags fit those.

More or less the same here. I avoid Ryanair, Thomson and likes for that reason. Had no prob on TUIfly out of DUS though. 'Full-cost' carriers let me take the Photo Trekker AW II plus a notebook with some peripherals in its case as carry-on baggage, no questions asked. And total ticket prices are not that far apart anymore if you book on relatively short notice, which is what I usually have to do.
