Hello and AMS Req for 01-09-09

Post by apjwright »

Quick introduction - I'm a Toronto based spotter, registrations primarily, and find myself traveling on business fairly often. This week, I had meetings in London and Delft. I spent the majority of the day on Wed Jan 7th spotting at AMS (after the ice was cleared from the terrace) and then night-stopped at the Schiphol Sheraton again on Thu Jan 8th - Fri Jan 9th. Room 848 at the Sheraton afforded a very good view of the ramps - too bad it was very foggy on Thursday night, which meant I quickly retired to the bar for beers ! :-) The fog had cleared by 5:30am on Friday morning, alas, most of the aircraft of interest(freighters) were very far away and impossible to tie-up.

Any help with the following would be greatly appreciated:

Swissport - 0600
2 x MPH B744F
JAL B744F
UAE B744F
China wall (?) B744F
1 other B744 - mostly white
DHL A300

KLM Cargo ramp - 0600
2x KLM B744F

other Cargo ramp (near KLM ramp)
NCA B744F - would this be JA05KZ?

In terms of liners, only a few of interest from 0630:
Austrian F70
Lot EMB170(?)
IBE A320

My company HQ is in Delft, so I'm hopeful to get more trips to your great country and visit a very interesting airport.

Thanks again for the help.

Rgds,
Tony
YYZ based.

Thanks Chris.

Hopefully the rest will become evident (I'm hoping one of the MPH B744's was MPP ...)

Chris: VP-BIK was correct by Ab and the EK was the N497MC.

And hereby the last two requets: N497MC (see also message above!) and the CI was B18251 (pax) or B18723 (cargo).
