The Slovak Air Force has signed an order of 2 C-27J in order to replace the old Antonov still in service. An option for other 2 were also placed.
The plan is to use them for moving troups and materials from/to Afghanistan (and, obviously, for other transportation matters).
Slovakia is the eighth Nation to choose the Spartan, after Italy, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Latvia, USA, Morocco.
