Is the Willows cmaping site still there? I thought the owner had passed away...

Think you are confused with the other campsite (with the photographers shelve next to the fence)...
The rumour about Ted (owners of the Willows) having passed away is circulating around for a while now, but seems not the be true.

The next generation? The one in the pink jack in my doughter (3.5 years old) and wants to do what her father also likes to do, Taking pictures af airliners. When she was 2 she already knew KLM, Transavia, Martinair, Singapore airlines, 747 and Fokker 50.

Now that the TLP is almost leaving Florennes for Albacete it's time to look back to spotting at this great place where the weather was quite often a surprise. As where the participants!

I think this pictures shows Florennes as it was: lots of spotters, the farmer and planes


Neighbor and friend Jim van Zetten went along and decided to take a closer look at the landing aircraft near the famous landing light. Here an Italian EF2000 comes in after a mission.


Always park your car off the road but make you you do get out

A local radiostation did a live interview on French radio with me. 't's hard to explain in French why you are driving to Cambrai from Holland for an airshow. This was at Cambrai-Epinoy, 2 july 2006.


Finally my father-in-law went along and now he loves to go to airshows. Here he's sitting in a Portugese TB30 at Beauvechain 3 september 2006.
