Hi,
Despite earlier requests, there are still several people who have an incorrect, non-existing, e-mail address in their profile, probably because this was changed after they signed up.
Unfortunately, any e-mail send to them (like notifications on replies or private messages etc) will therefore bounce, and get in my mail box, which is getting a bit annoying as this may mount up to several hundreds a week.
For all users from whom I got bouncers during the last week or so, I have adjusted their profiles, turning everything off which might trigger an e-mail being send, including the ability to receive Private Messages - you have to turn those on in your Profile settings (and while being there, adjust your mail address too ).
But this was only the first step; for future bouncers I have introduced the rule I will disable, and eventually delete, those accounts which turn out to have non-existing e-mail addresses in their profile (see http://www.scramble.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).
Kind regards,
Hans
