Nippon Cargo Airlines is reducing its B747-400ERF operations to AMS in Summer 2009 due to the economic sitation, there will be fewer flights (one per day only) and no non-stop flights AMS-TYO-AMS:
The following flights are currently foreseen:
- 3x weekly Tokyo - Amsterdam - Milan - Tokyo
- 1x weekly Tokyo - Nagoya - Amsterdam - Milan - Tokyo = NEW
- 2x weekly Tokyo - Nagoya - Amsterdam - Frankfurt - Tokyo = NEW
KLM has now dropped plans to increase the frequency of AMS-HKG-AMS to 2x daily on a number of days. The flight will remain a 1x daily B747-400M service but the schedule will change as follows:

Finnair has announced that it will reduce frequency on HEL-AMS-HEL in Summer 2009 from 3x per day to 2x per day by dropping its relatively new night-stop service.
KLM continues to plan an increase in frequency on AMS-HEL-AMS from 3x daily to 4x daily in Summer 2009.
According to the slots KE will not operate the A330 to AMS coming summer but will keep the B777-200ER on the route. The returntrip to Madrid will also stop (thank god I did this great trip in november).
The following route will operate on day 3,5 and 7.
