Havoc11/12 2x B-52 are currently enroute and overhead Atlantic. My gues would be that it's 11.00z (13.00 local).

Quid74 (100th ARW tanker) just went up to meet them for AR.

Cheers,
Oscar

Can someone tell me why 2 B-52's from Barksdale would fly to Cornfield to drop a few bombs and go back right after? Would've thought they have enough bomb ranges in the States and the AAR can be practiced there also.

Off course something like this is much more realistic to compare with real war missions. Why fly one-two hours to drop some bombs in your own country, while flying 7-8 hours to a foreign country far overseas drop some bombs and then heading back , whitout landing , looks much more like the things they did when flying during "endurig freedom" or other operations.

Years ago they did it more often , to fly to the Netherlands and drop some bomns. Even B-2's if I'm not mistaken.
