Finnair has announced that it will reduce frequency on HEL-AMS-HEL in Summer 2009 from 3x per day to 2x per day by dropping its relatively new night-stop service.

KLM continues to plan an increase in frequency on AMS-HEL-AMS from 3x daily to 4x daily in Summer 2009.

Since the christmas holidays the nightstop never returns to the original 6x weekly schedule but max 1 or 2 flights per week.

Pretty sad, it looks like this summer the number of flights at SPL is reducing as fast as they where growing the last years... :(

Coudn't find any kingfisher or gulf air slots in the summer 2009 slot list :o
Are the plans totally gone for those rumours in case of the crisis, or didn't they received there requested slots?

My dad works at KL groundhandling (wide bodies) he said that there were some rumours that PIA, SIA en Gulf air will be handled by KL ground service in the summer?

Correct, Kingfisher is not in the slotlist anymore since november or something. Gulf Air is removed from the list since january. I guess the reason is the bad economic situation.
