There is a Vampire T.55 stored at Charleroi airport. Ex Swiss AF U-1237, c/n 22277 and his civilian serial is, or has to the OO-KGS.

Wow, that's the first time I hear of this. Would this be visible from outside, or just when taking off?
And where has this been hiding till now??

Patrick,

I saw it during take off but maybe it can also seen from outside. I hope you know where the B727 is standing, just behind it was a small hangar and in front of that hangar I saw the vampire.

Thanks for the info! I have no clue where that 727 is standing, but how hard can it be to find a big airliner.....
We might give it a try tomorrow on the way to/back from the TLP.

Patrick,

Any luck on Charleroi for finding the Vampire.
If so can you confirm the serial number.

Sorry, in the end we didn't have the time to visit here. In a few weeks, when the next TLP has started, we will try again....

Already mentioned this somewhere else, but for completeness sake:
Any luck on Charleroi for finding the Vampire.

This is indeed OO-KGS. Not read of by myself, but confirmed by two reliable sources......
