Arrived MEM with N815NW on 8th October. Picked up the rentalcar and went for the motel. Early next morning (Friday) I passed Graceland for the L-1329 N777EP and CV880 N880EP. Thereafter it was up to the mainterminal carpark. Two weeks before my visit I emailed the airport police (MSCAA) and they asked to send a copy of my passport. I did and they wished me a pleasant stay..I had no police-visit that day, probably because it was raining so hard most of the day..
Fedex still domains the airport movements, although is is not so busy anymore. Busiest time was 1545-1730lt while most of the aircraft left the cargo-aprons.
During the day they arrive and depart every now and then.
Seen were (0800-1300 and 1500-1730lt):
29 A300's, only 2 A310-200's (404/423FE), 3 ATR42/72's, 1 Ce208, 13 MD11's, 34 DC-10's, only 6 B727's, 7 B757's (901/912/917/918/919/923/933FD) and the new B777 N850FD.

Other dominant carrier is Northwest although more and more aircraft are now painted in Delta colors. I noticed several ERJ170's, CRJ200's and CRJ900's in DL-colors as well as A319/320's and good old DC-9's.. (I made 5 of those smoking -51's) :wink:
