Hi all,
Guess there should be some KLM/Travel experts here, so if one could help I would be happy.
Bought a ticket via expedia some time ago, incl. in the ticket was LIM-AMS on 26/May.
That flight has since been cancelled, and ticket is non-refundable and non-changeable.
Called expedia yesterday for rebooking to another flight, instead of TACA/KLM LPB-LIM-AMS-CPH they suggested TACA/KLM LPB-LIM-GRU-AMS-CPH which was fine with me. After waiting on the phone while expedia was on the phone with KLM they came back and told me KLM would only accept rebooking to same routing. (even though it wasn't me that decided they should cancel the flight).
Again fine with me, 25/May same routing had lots of space in economy, but again KLM (according expedia) denied rebooking as my booking class was sold out! And that’s even though they sold me a ticket that no longer exists.
Anyway accepted to fly on 24/May and everything seemed OK, but either KLM or expedia f_cked up again. I just got a new schedule leaving on my original flight 26/May, 1½ day wait in LIM before flying to AMS arriving 28/may at 1320. Funny thing is my connecting flight to CPH is my original flight that leaves AMS 27/May in the afternoon or almost a day before I arrive
I obviously have to call expedia again, but before I do I would love to know what rules KLM have for a rebooking in a case like that, so that I know if it is expedia that are incompetent or plays games, or if KLM really want to jeopardize a costumer by not being willing to accommodate me on a suitable flight. I should be able to cancel without when what I bought no longer exists, no?
Thanks in advacne for anyhelp
/Michael
